Practice Manager

Help Shape the Operational Heart of a Growing Wealth Advisory Firm

We are looking for a Practice Manager to lead and develop our client services team while helping drive the next stage of growth for our firm.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with wealth management operations experience who enjoys leading people, improving workflows, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

You’ll work closely with the Practice Principal and Financial Advisers, ensuring the operational side of the business runs smoothly as the firm continues to grow.

The Role

As Practice Manager, you will take ownership of the back-office operations function, leading the Client Services team and ensuring advisers are supported to deliver an outstanding client experience.

With increasing volumes of new business, the role will be central to ensuring operational excellence and enabling future growth.

You will be trusted to lead autonomously, implement improvements, and develop the team around you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Client Services team
  • Oversee workflow management and operational processes
  • Ensure efficient business submissions and excellent client communication
  • Support advisers by ensuring high-quality operational support
  • Mentor and develop a young and ambitious team
  • Guide team members on time management, task ownership, and career development
  • Identify and implement improvements using CRM systems, workflow tools, MS Teams, SharePoint and emerging AI solutions
  • Help create scalable processes to support continued business growth

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who combines wealth management operational knowledge with a flair for people management and leadership skills.

You will likely have:

  • Experience working within a wealth management / financial planning firm
  • Strong understanding of client services or paraplanning support functions
  • Line management experience including creating of KPIs and managing staff performance to those KPIs
  • Experience of managing and mentoring a support team
  • Excellent organisation and workflow management skills
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to take ownership and improve processes
